Thick stone walls, dark beams and painted tiles on the stairs. The rooms are plain and cool in summer, with shutters that fold back onto the street and the hillside. Nothing here is new, and that is rather the point.

It works best for one large group taking the whole house: a family gathering, a birthday, a week of walking and cooking with people you like.
